Development of Coffee-growing through the contribution of innovations and of sustainable technologies, for the production and supply of coffee with quality, seeking the adequacy of the product to the market.

What is it for?

Actions directed towards the search for economic viability of the activity, in balance with the social and environmental aspects, enabling responsible and traceable coffee production.

By the means of theoretical-practical meetings and field visits, which aim for the technological contribution and technical interventions, the producer receives information and training for:

  • Adequacy solutions of activity management that be in conformity with the good agricultural practices, so that at the end of the process the property be with the implanted process.
  • To reach and capacitate all the producers for the application of principles of sustainable production, according to the necessity of the market.
  • Stimulate the structuring and the integration of the production areas, seeking the organization of the internal production chain and the optimization of resources, so they may access the market of quality coffee.
  • Systemic actuation in the development of coffee production planning, looking to reach the commercial objectives of quantity adjusted to demand, of quality required by the market and the correct regularity of delivery.

How does it work?

The work is developed in practical-theoretical applications, making use of two main tools: Collective Service and Individual Service.

Collective Service: Group service with transfer of agricultural production technology in periodic meetings, where practical and theoretical aspects of the activity shall be developed.

Individual Service: In loco service, with periodic visits by the consultancy to the properties, for the proposal of management adjustments and solutions according to the verified problems and traced objectives.

Collective service

  • Basic Premises and Planning and production quality. Traceability of Production, Identification and Separation of Lots.
  • Adequacy of follow up of the operational controls, record maintenance, auto evaluation, variety and soil management,
  • Adequate Utilization of Inputs.
  • Adequate Irrigation Management in production.
  • Handling of Product Post- Harvest.
  • Legal requirements concerning environmental conservation policies.

Individual Service.

  • Methodology and basic documents to achieve productive traceability.
  • Practical solutions and adapted to the profile of the producer assisted.
  • Identification of critical points in the harvest and post-harvest of coffee and proposal of solutions.
  • Definition and maintenance of controls and activity records.
  • Choosing the varieties for the utilization of fertilizers and phytosanitary products.
  • Form of records of application and traceability in the use of inputs and equipment
  • Storage and disposal of phytosanitary products.
  • Methods of pest and disease control.
  • Evaluation for need and calculation of irrigation.
  • Adapt equipment and establish records and controls of rational water use.
  • Establish environmental records and controls.
  • Management of solid and liquid residues.
  • Records and documentation relevant to certification processes.
  • Necessity of adaptation of the installations, residencies, clothing garments, PPE (Personal Protection Equipment), Training and Risk Analysis.
  • Carry out internal auditing, identifying possible non-conformities related to certification processes and give directions on the fulfillment of non-conformed requisites presented.
  • Propose and aide the implementation of corrective measures, according to the reality of each producer.
